I'm a writer and partnership manager working in learning and development. Most of my work involves people: understanding what they need, making complicated things easier to understand, and figuring out how to get organisations and their people to actually use the things we build for them.

Before that, I taught art, worked in fashion merchandising, and played guitar on the streets for anyone who'd listen. Somewhere along the way, I've written, presented, marketed, managed, taught, made things, and developed an unreasonable number of opinions about how things ought to work.

Outside work, I write about whatever has my attention - people, places, music, memory, and the minor absurdities of being alive.
